I forgot to post our latest weigh in...
At her 2 month appointment (or closer to 9 weeks) Ms. Freya weighed in at...
11lbs 15 oz! and she is 23.5 inches long!!!
I know that this might not be as shocking to some, but for us - coming from the world of preemies - this is amazing. I have been trying to look through past posts and paperwork but I really don't think Reese broke 10 pounds until she was 6+ months!

summer days
Whew - the days are growing shorter, and summer is slowly ending. While the heat of summer never really hit our area - we still had some fun adventures. Here are some random pictures to share...

Tahoe or bust!
Phew - I am not sure if we looked like the Griswalds or a clown car -but we decided to attempt a trip to Tahoe with the family in August. We rented a house with some friends - and made a mini-vacation out of it.
First stop on the trip was a visit to Yuba City to see Auntie M - and of course visit a local park.
The next day we were off. Freya did surprisingly well with the drives. As long as we timed it right - she did great. The house was right on the lake - it was almost too close! In past years there had been a beach right there, but with all the rain this year - no beach! We ended up having to jump in the car and find a kid-friendly beach that would work.
But that didn't stop us! We swam, hiked and enjoyed the views.

Birth Day
