Backyard Bath

I am not sure how many of you remember - but last summer we often gave the duo their baths in a bucket in the backyard. This past weekend we spent the morning at the beach, came home, and decided to let them play in the bucket again. It was eye opening to really see how much they have grown- how big they are! Time is a flyin'

We've been a bit out of touch this week - Both kiddos are dealing with colds, and Reese has a double ear infection. So needless to say we are short on some sleep around our house. Hopefully we will all be on the mend soon!

No Me!

And so it begins - our little Miss.Independent already has found her stride. Every day she is learning, discovering, and testing...more. Here is her first attempts at choosing her own outfit. Crack me up- I can only wait to see how this develops over time.

While Reese may have a strong sense of style- Tanner certainly has his preference in footwear. I'll have to get some pictures, but the boy only wants to wear Reese's shoes. I'm starting to see how the red Mary Janes really can compliment an outfit.

Walk in the Woods

We decided to stick close to home over the holiday weekend - enjoy a little down time, catch up with friends and just enjoy the great weather! One trip we took was a walk amongst the redwoods at Henry Cowell Park. There is a main loop in the park, it's over a mile and takes you through some beautiful scenery. Tanner & Reese almost managed to walk the entire loop - and we had a fun time checking out the trains at Roaring Camp Railroads next door.

Look at the BIG tree Reese! (so cute - holding hands!)

A walk in the woods...

now and then

This past weekend we had a great gathering with our birth class. It was so great to catch up with folks, and see how much all of the kids have grown. It really shed some light on how much everyone has grown up!
