Equal Opportunity Celebrations

Well we couldn't celebrate one holiday without celebrating the other. :)

So the next day we took part of the crazy Capitola tradition of hunting for eggs on the beach. Sort of like running around with 500 of your closest friends picking up eggs in the sand. It was a little over stimulating -

But Reese did very well - she came away with quite the haul.

We even had the opportunity to share the morning with our favorite duo - Ozzie and Dylan.

Tanner - wanted nothing to do with it. Too many folks, too many strange things - all he wanted to do was play in the water.

Later we did our own egg hunt around the house. To prepare for the hunt- we got to dye eggs! I was not sure how it would go, or how big of a a mess it would be. But they did great over all. They quickly figured out their each individual style, alternating painting, dunking, turning and dipping.

And here was the result!

Finally- the reward for making it this far-

Some super cute faces!

Passover Round-Up

So I am woefully behind in posting of our recent adventures - but this one deserved some attention. Few weeks back we celebrated Passover with all of our family in Saratoga. While our family can be a wee bit loud normally - when you add three toddlers, and infant and Uncle Jeff into the mix- it can get down right chaotic.

So in preparing for the days events, we practiced our reading of being the "Wise" child - and learning to search for the affikomen. I am happy to report - Tanner was the winner. Can not wait until next year when Dylan can join in the madness.

"Look Mom I got Money!"

Watch our Tanner- Grandpa might try and take it!

The other joy of the evening - is watching Tanner & Reese enjoy playing with their cousin Gabby. The three of them spent the evening running around the house, wrestling and have a great time together.

This series of photos is called- how to get a picture of a group of toddlers:

Step 1: Get a patient photographer

Step 2. Pile children in place

Step 3. Shoot lots of photos very quickly while you bribe said children with chocolate.

Auntie M & Becca come to visit

Call her what you want - Auntie M, Uncle Miriam, Auntie Cori- but the kids were thrilled to have Auntie Miriam and Becca come down for a weekend visit. We had the opportunity to play, catch up, and go out and visit a local farm. The kids (along with Melissa and I) had a great time .

Come and visit again soon!
