Pumpkin Hunting!

 Wheeee it's time for pumpkins!

A little skeptical at first....

So they decided to sit back and first discuss pumpkin selection strategies...

Slowly they got into it...

Then we had to try and get a photo.  All the kids, large and small :-)

Arrrgh - we hope you enjoyed the holiday season!

A Very Pintrest Halloween

Since November 1 of last year, Tanner has been talking about throwing a Halloween Party.  The party had many components - but in the end I think we were able to create something that everyone enjoyed- didn't scare too many little ones - and everyone had a lot of fun!

Making Goul-ish Necklackes

Lunch is served!  We had mummy hot dogs, Ghost Cheese, Bat Balls, Apple Teeth, Jello Pumpkins, Carrot Fingers and Zombie Boogers (green popcorn... not shown)

Apple Eating..

We had costumes of all sorts...mermaids, witches, fairies, ghouls, ninjas and super heroes...

Reese works on a pictures she is doing and when finished asks me if I can write the story that goes with her picture.  Here we go:

Once upon a time there was a princess who lived all alone in a castle.  One day the princess was walking along a bank.  She saw a boy who was very handsome and beautiful.  the prince saw her and then he said, "will you marry me?"  The princess said she would.  They went to her kingdom.  The royal fortune throne Dad King said, "you may marry the prince.  We are moving soon , so be careful."  So the family packed up to move to a new castle.  the prince packed his royal ball.  They married each other as soon as they got to the new house.  It had a pool and they splashed and played all summer.  Thr king said they were moving again.  Hurricanes, tornadoes, and volcanoes kept getting them.

And that's the  End

Zucchini

Tis the season for Zucchini...some small, and some as large as your 13 month old...

A glimpse

When you child goes to day care - it's tough to get a full picture of what their day is like. Today, I got a set of pictures of Freya at school -

Warms my heart to know that she is thriving, and that she is surrounded by loving care givers that allow her the space and freedom to grow and explore.

Love that little lady.
