35 + Weeks

Crazy to think this is the point at which I delivered Tanner & Reese - and Mel still has another month to go!  We are in the final panic stages of "oh god there is going to be a new baby in this house very soon" - trying to cross things off the list.

Poor reese is in a bit of a funk these days. We have been dealing with some health things, and to top .it off she is having a hard time understanding that Tanner can have friends outside the two of them.

Yesterday was particularly hard and when I got to school I was told she had written me a note:

Beach Day

Easter 2011... Melissa was off at a soccer tournament so the kids and I took their new kites and went to the beach! It was a beautiful windy day...so of course I did not think we would end up in the water. Silly mama!

So yes, my kids were the ones running around in their undies and having a GREAT time. This is the first year that they are really wanting and ready to play in the waves, and only if they are small. But wave tag is great fun!
